Still in complete shock that I am the 2019 AFA Rising Star of the Year!

This prestigious award is so prominent for two reasons. Firstly for the high calibre of advisers that have previously won this award, including Rebecca Pritchard and Mia Taylor – it still hasn’t sunk in that I am part of this exclusive group.

Secondly, this years finalists are all first class advisers and all would have deserved to win this award. I have had a great time getting to know the #wolfpack Jade McKay, Rebecca, Daniel, Victoria Devine and Ellie. As someone this week has said, “this group of advisors are not just rising stars, they are already stars in the industry.”

Thankyou to both the AFA and Zurich for supporting the award and thankyou also for the judges for their time and consideration in this process.

Big thankyou to Infocus for accepting me into their family 15 months ago and given me the opportunity to launch Master Your Money Now – it is a great team to be a part of!

So many people have helped me in my career, but I want to acknowledge Brendan Madden and Jessica Grixti for the considerable time you took out of your busy schedules to mentor me to become a financial planner.

To all of my members at Master Your Money Now who have put their trust in me with their financial situation, it is a privilege to serve you everyday.

Finally, the biggest thankyou goes to my beautiful wife Natalie, who lets me talk about finances non-stop (except when Australian Survivor is on)! I love you so much and I wouldn’t be here without you!
